Bob, Carl, Dave, and GW Testing The New Chip and Putt

Golfers rejoice, for there is now an opportunity for you to practice your short game here at Kingsley Pines Camp.  Over the winter, the maintenance crew installed a beautiful chip and putt at the end of the soccer field. After long days of continuous play, golf pros Dave, GW, Carl, and I found that it was the most fun and challenging course we have played in our entire careers. You will have your chance soon. Session 1 starts in just two weeks!

After the tennis courts are painted.

Before the paint job.

The lower tennis courts got a much needed face lift this spring with new coats of paint (love the soothing green to throw off your opponents.) So get your white shorts ready and we are set to see some amazing games of tennis this summer! Can't wait to see you on the court!

Construction of New Golf Putting Green

The construction of our new golf putting green is well on it's way.  Merritt and John have been doing a bang up job preparing the site for chipping, putting, and driving.  We are sure that this will be a extremely popular activity.  We will also have the ability to turn the green into a 9 hole mini golf course!  I'll post some more pictures when it's completed.

More Office Space is Under Construction

Some of you may have noticed this past summer an open floor space attached to the staff lounge! This fall construction is under way on this floor space to make more office space. The new office space will provide room for a small conference room, a media room for production of the camp slide shows and videos and Drew Taylor's office. The roof will be completed by snowfall (hopefully!) and the inside will be finished in time for us to use this space this summer!

Cabin 40 ( a.k.a. Chickadee, where Tony and Bob lived) and Cabin 55 (a.k.a.Maple, where Tynan lived) were next to Pat and Joyce's house. This fall, they were moved to new locations! Cabin 55 will also continue to be a staff cabin and is now near the archery range by Cabins 33 and 34! The moves were quite exciting to watch as the truck and trailer squeezed the cabins through the trees! Needless to...
