Winter 2013
Recognize your favorite places at camp in the snow? I guess we could add fort building on the tennis court and cross country skiing on the lake to our activity list!
Last Dip of the Season!!
The history making snow at the end of October is almost a distant memory (except by the Playhouse door) so of course with temps in the 60's it was the day for the last dip of the season! This last swim is actually almost 2 weeks later than last year!
Foam Amazingness
Jonathan, David, Michelle, Jake, and Jean tested out the new foam machine today with flair and it looks like it is a hit!
No Joke The Mosquito is Open!
What better way to take in a snow storm on April Fool's Day than at the opening of The Mosquito?!! Darcy was a great sport bringing out a real cherry to top off our extra extra large "keeper" snow ice cream cone! We decided it's really best to stick with the real ice cream!!
Kitchen Remodel Update
The Kitchen Remodel is getting closer to completion! The walls are up with most of the trim. new ceiling and new fan vent ready. The pink blanket represents the door out to the dining hall! The window for dirty dishes to come back in has not been cut out yet! I didn't take many pictures of the dining hall right now because it is filled with the stoves, shelves, new sinks and the new dishwasher!
Snowshoeing and Snowmobiling Up Rattlesnake Mt and Around Camp
No stunt persons were involved in these photos!! What a great afternoon we had taking the office outside. You may be able to recognize some of the landmarks on Nubble Pond and the rope swing at camp! Of course, a snowball fight broke out and there was some goofing around on the rocks! We had so much fun that after getting to the top of Rattlesnake we went back to camp and raced on the lake!
2011 Boston Winter Party
What a winter treat to get together with 70 campers and staff at the Somerville Holiday Inn in Somerville, MA! The pizza and pool were enjoyed by everyone. Thanks for coming.
The First Winter Storm
Many of you experienced or heard about the snowstorm that hit the East Coast of the US on Sunday and Monday. Here in Raymond, we only had 10.5 inches, as compared to places that received 30+ inches. It is a sunny day and camp looks beautiful in the fresh blanket snow.
Improved Mountain Biking Trails
Members of the Maine Conservation Corps work on improving our hiking and mountain biking trail system.
Fall Leaves at Camp
The calendar has turned to November and most of the leaves at camp have fallen or have turned brown and are still trying to hang on! Thought you might enjoy seeing the docks put away and the picnic tables getting ready to be stored in the playhouse! The dandelion at the bottom of the lodge steps is being quite brave as the temps at night are starting to near freezing! Enjoy
Tennis Courts Get A Face Lift!
Get your white shorts out for the tennis courts have got a fresh coat of paint and they are ready for action! Both the lower and upper tennis courts both got a much needed face lift with a new paint job this spring and are ready for play!
Golf - Almost Finished
We are almost finished with the golf green construction. We are just waiting to insall the green, set the putting cups, and finish the sand bunker. This will be a great new program for golfers of all skill levels. Across the road will be our driving location. We'll be ready for you and are excited to have this new addition to camp!

It was such a beautiful day today, that Alan, Drew, and Jean felt like getting out of the office to take the first dip in Panther Pond!
Gator goes for a ride on the lake!
The sun is out and the lake is frozen so it seemed like a good time to take the gator for a test ride!
Polar Pool Party
Over 70 campers and staff braved the outside temps to attend the 2009 Winter Reunion Polar Pool Party in Somerville, Massachusetts. Human poker, pizza and plenty of pool time was enjoyed by everyone making us hope that summer will be here soon.
First Storm of 2010
It has felt like we were inside a snow globe for the past three days! Surprisingly, we only received 8 inches of new snow but it is beautiful to start the new year!
Office Space Under Construction!
Check out the construction progress on the additional office space being built next to the staff lounge. The new office space will be the home of a new small conference room, media room for production of camp slide shows and videos and Drew Taylor's office.

Cabin 40 Gets A New Home!
Cabin 40, near Pat and Joyce's house where Bob and Tony lived this past summer, has been moved next to Rattlesnake! It was interesting to see the movers disconnect it from it's chimney and head down the camp road!
Cabin 55 Also Gets A New Home!
Tucked deep away in the woods near Cabin 40 and Pat and Joyce's house was Cabin 55. Some of you may have played band in this cabin a couple of years ago. This past summer Tynan lived there. Now it has been moved near the archery range and Cabin 34.
More Trail System Improvements
This new trail begins beside the archery range, then winds its way behind the Fieldhouse, then behind the new field and across Plains Road to connect with the Nubble trails built at the beginning of last summer.
Fall & Wildlife Photos
See the fall wildlife at camp - a Great Blue Heron that lives by the sail shack, three otters playing in the swamp, a plethora of chickadees, geese on the lodge lawn, and the regular assortment of squirrels and chipmunks.
