If you are looking for an exciting and rewarding experience where you can make a real difference in a child's life, then this is the place for you! Thank you for your interest in working at Kingsley Pines. We currently have openings for camp counselors, cooks, and many other positions.

Kingsley Pines is a coed, noncompetitive, resident camp for ages 8-16 located on Panther Lake in Raymond, Maine. The camp season begins June 13, 2015. It consists of one week of staff orientation, eight weeks of children's camp, and two weeks of family camp. The employment period varies between nine and eleven weeks, ending either August 15 or August 28. Most jobs are residential and provide room and board.

We have the following openings for summer 2015:

COUNSELORS: The core of the camp staff. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and have a genuine concern for children. Counselors supervise, lead, guide and live with a group of 3-10 children. They also teach activities (see list below). These positions require maturity, creativity and a strong commitment to children. Click here to learn more about being a counselor. Candidates must be at least age 18 and have graduated from high school before January 1, 2015.

We need counselors who can instruct one or more of the following activities: Archery, Canoeing, Fencing, Football, Jewelry, Kayaking, Outdoor Living Skills, Photography (Darkroom), Rock Climbing, Ropes Course (High), Sailing, Swimming, Tennis, Theater (Technical), Visual Art (2-D), Visual Art (3-D), Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Windsurfing, and Woodworking.

NURSE: Responsible for the daily health care needs of campers and staff members, including first aid and dispensing medications. Each nurse lives in a private cabin, with its own bathroom, separate from the Health Center. RN is required. REGISTRATION AND TRAVEL COORDINATOR: Duties include camper registration, sending brochures to leads, creating and maintaining camper files, collecting and following up on camper forms, billing and collecting payments, reconciling weekly deposits, processing accounts payable for selected vendors, coordinating camper airport transportation, mailings, and answering phones.

This position requires experience with and an understanding of Web-based software and computers, great attention to detail, organizational skills, flexibility, and a sense of humor. Experience with Quickbooks preferred. There is some weekend work during the summer. This is a year-round, full-time position.To apply, send resumes to Alan Kissack by email at
