If you are looking for a exciting and rewarding experience where you can make a real difference in child's life, then this is the place for you! Thank you for your interest in working at Kingsley Pines. We currently have job openings for camp counselors, nurses, cooks and many other positions.

Kingsley Pines is a coed, noncompetitive, resident camp for ages 8 - 16 located on Panther Lake in Raymond, Maine. The camp season begins June 2, 2013. It consists of one week of staff orientation, ten weeks of children's camp, and two weeks of family camp. The employment period varies between eleven and thirteen weeks, ending either August 17 or August 30. Most jobs are residential and provide room and board.

We have the following openings for summer 2013:

COUNSELORS: The core of the camp staff. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and have a genuine concern for children. Counselors supervise, lead, guide, and live with 3-8 children. They also teach activities (see list below). These positions require maturity, creativity, and strong commitment to children. Click here to learn more about being a counselor. Candidates must be at least age 18 and have graduated from high school before January 1, 2013.

We need counselors who can instruct one or more of the following activities: Assistant Waterfront Director for Swimming.

OFFICE STAFF: Responsibilities include daily coverage of the camp office, answering phones, computer input, distributing email and mail, greeting visitors, petty cash and checking campers in on opening days and out on closing days. Seeking candidates with strong computer, customer service and organizational skills. These positions are a little different than traditional office jobs click here to learn more.

ASSISTANT WATERFRONT DIRECTOR FOR SWIMMING/COUNSELOR: Responsible for leading and organizing the Red Cross instructional swimming program. Duties include supervising and training instructors and monitoring the quality of instruction. Watch this video to see our awesome waterfront in action. Candidates must be age 21 or older and have current Lifeguarding, WSI, first aid, and CPR. We can assist in acquiring the necessary certifications. CLEANING & HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT: Responsible for daily general cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning bathrooms, sinks and showers; and disposing of trash and waste. Full-time, starting on May 14 and ending through August 18, 2012. Weekend work is required. Seeking person who lives in the local area. Housing is not available.
